well I'd have to imagine a hard plastic one can't be much fun either if it breaks For that matter a soft plastic one sucks if it rips.

well in English they are called 'glasses' even if they aren't made out of glass.... same with like plastic cups can still be called 'glasses' even though they're not glass is it the same in french?? maybe that's where sandman and speedy are having the dissagreement??

Nah. Plastic cup and glass cup can be both called a "verre" in French, even if it is not made of "verre"... Dissagrement between me and sandman was about how to call contact lecense. (Whatever how you write it) It's because in French it can be called in many way.
