[mad] EVERY SKY BOXES THAT I TESTED GAVE THE SAME *ING RESULT. MY MAN IS BLACK. i REALLY STARTING TO GET *ED UP. TELL ME HOW TO CORRECT THAT ING THING OR EXPLAIN EVERY *ING LEVELS OF MAKING THE SUN FLARE. ONE BY ONE. [mad] i IT WASN'T OF ME, I WOULD :2guns: THE SCREEN.
AND OTHER *ING THING, IF I TAKE OUT THE BOTTOM OF THAT SH!T, THE LIGHTNING IS 100% EVERYWHERE.

First I know how you feel, second I dont think you should remove the botttom of you sky box ever, and third for the bad lighting in the level is because you need to set your worldspawn settings up to have settings like the fallowing... in fact I use nothing but the fallowing settings for my skyboxes and lighting

Now, to put them in you first have the faces of you skybox selected, then hit your S key bringing up the surface editor, then in the typeing feild type anyone of them settings skybox texture from above, so like I used carentans sky so I look up carentan on that list and see I need to typed in sky/mp_carentan and hit enter you will know you have the correct texture on it when the faces you have selected turen a red checkerd texture NOT a blue checkerd

Now as for the worldspawn settings, have nothing selected and hit N, this brings up the Entity editor were you should have the worldspawn setting highlighted and ready for you to fill out the rest of the keys and values for you sky box... corasponding to what ever sky box texture you went with of course

Try this. Start a new map. Create the skybox. Open another instance of codradiant. Open your map in there. Select everything in the old map and copy it into the new map, compile and test.

The thing tha ubh told me to do works perfecly, but now, it's not a dark problem.... [mad] It's all the other side.

Is it screwed up when you view it in game?

the seems like u don't have a flare compiling progress running..

I had that to when i started.. try to set the good "documents" in the ENTITY please..

liek this:

Sunlight 2
Diffusefraction .65

Okay do a test for me. That sky test map file add a small room inside it with doorway and big enough to walk into. Then add one light in there. Walk into that room and see if the player stays black.
If he does try this. First remove codradiant from the registry, then open codradiant and reset the qe4 file. Open the test map and compile it then test it in game again. If that don't work I would completely uninstall codtools, remove the codradiant from the registry and reboot. An uninstall of codtools does not remove the codradiant entry in the registry.

Needs ambient lighting to light the models,

Second, after he remade the map, he complains of too much light. ""His sky box has a leak."

Third, enter all the values in the 'Worldspawn".
