I think I've sorted it. I downloaded a wave32.ocx patch & installed that.
                Runner works now but when I log into the server from my other pc it disconects me saying client/server mismatch? v1/v3. This does not happen when I turn admin mod off. I am sure I have been on servers running sof2mp_v1 (mwz, ran) & admin mod. I am confused...
                                  Any ideas?    Thanx..
                                           

same here ----   server shows up  in version 1.00 browser, try to join and get the  same   mismatch error      1.03/ 1.00

Sounds like its MOD related, shoot off an e-mail to the MOD author for advice.

I have emailed cyphix...
               I have been in contact with a couple of other servers who are running admin mod with V1 & they do not use runner, they just configure the MOD. I will try it but I rely on runner so I am unsure.

Here's an update:
         Admin MOD is not compatable with V1. cyphix is thinking about a version soon.  

Aphextwin,  can you  confirm if there will be a  version for 1.00?

To be honest I am pretty much near the end of developing SOF2 Runner. I will keep the MODs that it currently supports upto date where applicable but I need to dive into something new and fresh.

I typically write programs that use the Quake 3 engine or a variation of it as that is what I am most familiar. Having said that I would like to get my head into the Unreal engine being that there is a number of games out there that utilize it.
