Hey there Spike! I just got dsl yesterday. My problem is that I have very good connection when I start playing sof2, BUT after 5 mins a 60 ping QUICKLY becomes 500-800. Another thing that happens is that the game only shows me servers with high pings after that happened. Its very weird, because I can play for about 5 mins with a 60 ping and then all of sudden the ping goes up. Could it be PB? Thanks in advance Danny

Yes the lag happens on both pb and non pb servers. But only in sof2.

type /rate 10000 in the console or go in sof2 menu.. click network options and put on 10000

have u ever tried runnin adaware on ure system ? is any firewall runnin in background? did u turn off the bandwithlock on xp? (it reserves part of ure speed for updates and services) the only thing i can think of right away, is that norton or some other program starts an update or goes online while ure playin.

Mekko, thanks for responding! Where do I find that Windows Updated option? Because I have been looking all over the place and couldnt find it.
