Ahoy there lads! I just got me dsl connection (SBC Yahoo). My problem is that I get very good pings in the first 5 mins of my connection on sof2 servers, but then I get pings between 500 and 800 on every server. I just got my dsl connection yesterday, so I guess this could be a problem, since dsl connection have to be synchronised with the server for a couple of days. Could there be any other reason for this strange ####? The pings are really good in the beginning, but then all of a sudden spike and stay high. Any help would be appriciated. Danny

not that this is any help... but my buddy got DSL from sbc yahoo and has had nothing buttrouble with it. well he's fine now i think. He had some problems with packet loss. maybe thats part of the problem

i called the sbc people and they said they'd look into it. as far as i know they fixed it. (i do all his computer work cuz he = dumb) he doesn't play SoF2 though cuz his computer sucks balls.
