Since upgrading (!) to the gold full patch, my internet server list now only has 74 servers, including 50+ empty ones  

Before, I had hundreds ! many with good pings, (I am in the UK) now, its a case of look for pings below 500, and choose which of the 3 to log onto...

needless to say, it has killed my online fun.

I have tried updating servers, get same list back, I have a valid CD key, I have all servers checked, and I have show full show empty to yes.

I have an ISDN line, which hasn't changed since the upgrade, niether has my ISP (!)

PLEASE how do I get a new master list, so I can start playing again ??  Seems a bit pointless going back to version 1.0 !

If you have a firewall make sure you re-allow access to SoF2.  As for the 74 servers, make sure you don't have any filters on the top, as I get well over 1000 servers in my 1.03 gold list.  Also, make sure it was the *SoF2* - not SoF1 - gold patch you got, sorry for redundancy, and that your installation is correct - wiser2

if nothing helps install http://www.udpsoft.com/eye2/index.html (a gameserver broweser) to get all the servers (~1900 atm)

I had probably 1000 before the upgrade too , and I do have filters switched off.

I can find hundreds of them, lots of empty ones....     and make sure you are searching the internet not local and also the type of game....  I had a few showing one day, but it was set to look only for DM, switched it to all and made a big difference..... and ASEye is the only way to go as he says!!!

 

wiser showed it all loaded correct, eye loaded millions of servers thanks folks, back in action, with pings below 50 showing now too !

Oh, I did have all the filters off btw.
