Okay i know this has been posted like a million times but i read everything and still didnt fix now help me out i used to be able to play a 10 client server perfectly fine but then i got a firewall....now my servers stopped yes i have tried shutting down the firewall i also have a router however the PC that has SoF2 is the base PC (internet connects to it then to laptop) i know its not that but just in case anyway how can i fix (PLZ KEEP SIMPLE) thnx -Desperate Goth

you need to open the servers port in the firewall/nat default port is 20100 (udp)

Look into your firewall help info. You may also have to allow access to the program itself if you have something similar to Norton.

well for zonealarm u just allow the sof2mp.exe full access and server rites, but u also say u have a router which probally has some sort of firewall, so u will need to open the posrts in that as well, consult the manual on how to do this.

my only router connects the laptop to the internet....would that affect my sof servers i mean i allow SoF full access to the internet + i've tried many times to turn off the firewall yet servers dont show up P.S.The router shouldnt mess with the SoF2 servers should it grrrrr......**** stupid raven fix your software ( <----hes still the best lol)

argh i've turned off my firewalla thousands of times in an attempt still nothing LOL yet today i just learned that my pc does run through the router spike you've been a big help thnx buh bye -Goth ( HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHHHHAHAAHHHAAA)
