yeah, after working with it some more, I'm definatly going to wait for GTK. or at least Q3map2.
If ritual doesn't let either of them add support, I think that will just about nail down the lid on EF2's coffin.
It be like cutting off an arm of the mapping comunity.

the wait for this stuff was definatly not worth it.

Overall, I am quite disappointed from this GTK. Waiting so long for something that is not better than Raven's :( ... As many of you, I also experience crashes from time to time especially when loading the demo levels so far. And I noticed a really annoying bug with the "detachable" layout: the camera view disappears when the top one recovers it and there seems to be no way to bring it back :s9:

There are just too many commodities missing over GtkRadiant. And I wonder then which editor EF2 developpers used to make their levels; this is probably not this -> "Uber"Radiant.

No BehavEd either; just a complex C-like scripting language that will discourage many people without programming interest/knowledge. The documentation would have gained to be better organized on this topic too: a quick access to the language reference ...

I just hope Ritual will give necessary information to the Gtk team for adding EF2 support to GtkRadiant because without their cooperation I don't think it will be able to support EF2.
