Who knows whats happening??? Anyone?

Alians came down from space and got to work.

They say now its just a malfunction, and should be back in a few hours.

It sounds like parts of New Jersey that lost it have power again.

I'm in NJ and never lost it.

Same thing happened when I was a young pup.  The power grid for the northeastern US went down.  I think at that time it was due to the grid being overloaded or hit with a surge of some sort.  There was a cascade effect that knocked power out over a large area.  This time it seems to extend up to Ottowa and as far west as Ohio and Michigan.

Lots of looting in New York City when night fell that time around.  Hope they get the grid back up (or the folks in NY behave a bit better than they did last time around).

Its hit as far a michigan, but not Iowa. I hope Wisconsin is fine. (my dad's working there currently)


Also, I didn't know that major US cities and some canadian cities were on the same power grid until now.

My mistake, I just looked it up. It was 77.  I was more than a decade off!
