It has been a long time since I have recorded a demo in sof 1. I can't find any commands on how to do this. Could someone one tell me how to do this?

record <filename> : records demo
stop : stops recording
timedemo <filename> : plays demo

Can someone please tell me how to :

CONVERT THE DEMO-FILE TO .AVI or MPEG

(Some ppl said geekplayer, but thats for CS only i think)

To turn a demo into an AVI video:

Type in the console: avi record <filename>

<filename> should include the extension, eg: avi record myvideo.avi

When you do that you will get a dialog box asking you wich codec to use (it might be easier having SoF running in windowed mode then?).

Then start playing back the demo.

Simply type "avi" in the console to get the commands summed up.

I opened the console in SOF2 and typed just AVI as you said.
unknown command "avi"

Anyone else get this to work ?

....i just saw right now this thread is in SOF1, hehe
i am trying in SOF2 ....

i dont know wtf it does..
