hello when i want to start sof II , that say to me : OpenGL initialization Failure. To play Soldier Of Fortune II : double helix , please verify that your card is open GL compliant .if it is , please update to the latest video drivers . see the readme.txt for more details i got a radeon 9500 pro / 9700 series, ive uninstalled the driver and installed a new one from the ATI RADEON website, but i get still the same message for sof2 and its really pee-peeing me off i really wish that some1 could help me !!! THANK U!

What version of Direct X are you running? Try installing DX 9 and go from there.

Just making sure: have you got a dual-monitor setup perhaps? (because the only times I got OpenGL Init Failures were when I didn't disable my secondary monitor)

Assuming you mean the button to show which monitor is which; that's only visible when you have multi-monitor support. Although some vid. cards have their TV-out recognized like that as well, make sure only the primary (#1) monitor is enabled when you play SOF2... if it is the only one then your init failure is probably somewhere else, but it's worth a shot

Had the same #### with my ATI 9700. Current drivers seem to be rather shitty. Try older ones and it will work. I think that I use the 3.4 ones, but not certain (the number is 6.14.10.6343). Cya mate and good luck. Zak.
