Wyatt, I know its early and its still up and coming, but you think I could send you a video of a map I am making for the SWAT mod? Just to get some expert opinions? I would appreciate it a lot, I don't have the resources to host the video online so I can't provide a link...I would really like you to see the video though. Thanks for your time! -Kaz

I can watch the video, but, for an honest opinion, I would need to see the .map and the bsp. It would be hard to judge the map based off a video. I could watch it to see what the mod is going to be like. Other than that, I am affraid I could not give an honest opinion.

i understand that this mapping contest only is for mp mapping? if so, is it not possible to make it for mp and sp? leon

So you are going to be looking at the .map files of every entry? Is this a contest for techniques used in mapping, or the actual map i.e. looks, playability, fps, etc.? -Kaz

I will release more details on the judging in about a week. Yes, we will be doing SP also. We are going to have the MP mapping competition first. Then, we will have the SP.

Hootie Hooo!!!! Cant wait for my very own chance at rejection and humiliation in the eyes of my mapping peers...Hooot...LOL... Im in, hopefully my map will be completed on time to compete. Need more info Wyatt...judged on what? Originality, historical accuracy, mapping skills, heehaws and doodaws(script stuff)?
