Played UrT since long back, but just got fed up with it so I switched to sof2 and played that for a couple of months until Now when UrT 3.0 is in the pipe....

Going back to UrT, I realise many things, cons and pros..but in the long run 3.0 wins...not because or graphics or player models or whatever...but because of its supreme gameplay and strategy. Ah, well..maybe that is not the case, I just don't know...sof2 is just same old same old it seems now :/

better skip both then     ...Tetris here I come

I downloaded UrT 3.0 (never played any of the previous builds), just for something new and so I could actually get some use out of my Q3 CD (which is useless with the crud that came burned on it).  It is actually pretty fun; different, but fun.

I do lament the fact that official SOF2 support is all but gone; you hate to see any good thing stop growing, but hey that's life.  There are some good user-created maps out there, as well as some fun mods (ICS for one).  Unfortunately, it seems the only way to really get people to play new maps is for Raven to release them; I can usually only find 10-20 servers with user-created maps.

Hey it could be worse - I've been waiting for Harpoon 4 to come out for years ...
