Just curious - would you consider using jump/crouch or crouch/lean scripts cheating?

No I don't think it's cheating, but I do consider purposely exploiting the lean bug is lame.... lots of lame people in this game.

Reason I am asking, is that CB are modifying rules.  If someone are caught with jump/crouch or lean/crouch script - their team will get a forfeit loss.

IMHO, really silly, since those of us with a certain dexterity of the fingers will be able to do those moves without binds.

I didn't hear about that. Will be hard for the people who always used those scripts to start using two buttons again. They should have banned it right away, not after people have been using them forever. But hey I'm not bothered with it since I don't use scripts at all, the only scripts I have are just text binds being bound to keys.

Whoops I voted wrong. I meant to put I use the crouch script.

Anyway I was wondering...again....all this scripts that people use to tell the others where there are (no so necessary no in OSP)..but couldn't that be considered as unfair play? I mean...if you don't have to stop and type and tell people, couldn't that been seen in the same vein as a crouch jump script.

No you're not a cheater if you use a lean/crouch script, and not even a lamer, but you must have either
1)Strange hands or
2)Strange config
In which case I feel sorry for you cos you're gonna find the game difficult to play either way

crouch jump aint cheating, and lean crouch aint cheating either, ya all just say that cuz of the lean bug, if the lean bug did not exist no one would complain. and something more, osp3g has fixed this. those ladders like CB should consider making the fixes mandatory instead of considering scripts as cheating.

^ probably uses both of those scripts.

i can jump on boxes fine., hitting 2 keys isnt tough. you dont need a script to do the crouch lean.

sigh , all you guys talking about bug fixes are funny. there was nothing wrong with the game before and all osp did was make it worse. i have no clue what you guys think you will get out of these lame half-asssed attempts at a fix. it will not make you better., and people will still crouch lean.

CB does the right thing, these 2 scripts are for newbies (sry if I hurt someones feelings ). If I can crouch jump and move right/left while crouch leaning then why someone have to use scripts, better learn to use keyboard.
