I love the jump\crouch script,and i am not a nood

MSN "wallhack" is a problem with the graphics drivers.
It is not connected to the game,  that is something for ATI/NVidia to take up... it has only happened rececntly (SOF2 did not have this problem until certain drivers were released).

I get this problem every now and then - and its a problem to me, not an aid. I also get a lot of lag when this happens.

I wasn't aware that you could bind a button in SOF2 that would activate a CVAR that will sign you on / log you off. Punkbuster should be aware of this if that is the case and secure the CVAR.

Once upon a time there was a script available that would give you NO RECOIL. This was an unfair advantage as regular out of the box players could not create this anti-recoil aid. This was classed as an unfair advantage as it altered the way the game was played. It was outlawed by PB.

I will say it again, I can jump and I can crouch. I can change the key assignment for these buttons. I can use them in quick succession to "jump-crouch". Why should I not be allowed to bind these under one button? You can jump crouch, as can everyone else, so it cannot be cheating.

The response from a jump-crouch script is usually slower and cannot jump as high - this would indicate that those people using the script are at a disadvantage.

A jump-crouch bind does not affect gameplay. I can do it with one button, I can do it with two buttons - it takes the same amount of time and no skill whatsoever - just press two buttons. Have you ever bound a "sayteam message"? Would this not be classed as cheating because I do not have the same bind, and therefore cannot warn my teammates of an enemy as fast (indeed, I would have to stop moving and type manually "ENEMY IS HERE" instead of pressing L that says the same thing automatically).

Binding was created by the SOF2 team as part of the game. If someone uses a bind that affects the way the game is played then that is cheating (ie does something that no one else can do - examples includee NO RECOIL, FLYING, GOD MODE, SUPER ZOOM I could go on forever).

I would consider these things not cheating: JUMP-CROUCH,  CROUCH-LEAN, ZOOM DOUBLER (one key to get to full zoom instead of pressing zoom in twice).

If you seriously think that jump-crouch or crouch-lean affect game play then you shouldn't play - most crouch-leaners (who, IMO, are using a script) are easy kills.

Dunno if anyone's seen me play before, but I jump around like a maniac, and some people say I look like i'm flying because I jump so well. I don't use a jump/crouch script, and I even find that they make it more difficult to do certain jumps (especially combinations of jumps). So imo NOT using a jump/crouch script is a slight advantage, so are people cheating if they don't use one?  

The lean/duck thing is similar too, it freezes you in place and gives you less fluid mobility from if you're using manual duck and lean.

Personally I think that most scripts are just for lazy people. Even the anti-recoil script thing is pretty pointless, you can just move your mouse down when you're firing :/ and you still have the inaccuracy that firing too long brings. Not like sof2 has huge recoil anyway...

Scripts are a way of making the game more customisable to the way you play. I use certain scripts I made myself to do radio commands, weapon switches, and couple things like that. It's not like it would make it easier for someone else using my scripts, and I would still play the same without them (after getting used to not using em...), they just suit my playing style and my keyboard bind-positions, as well as the mouse I use.

Scripts are available to everyone too, so it's not like it's an unfair advantage.

Cheats aren't defined by how they give 'an advantage', otherwise people with better graphics cards would be 'cheats' by that definition. Cheats are defined by something you are not supposed to be able to do in the game, and intrinsically alters it, which includes things like third person, white walls, ballhacks, wallhacks, aimbots, god mode, fly mode, noclip, unlimited ammo things like that. Even if you put the cheats on, everyone has access to them so in that way they are not even cheats anymore, till they are turned off.
