hey everybody, im back from my ~4 month break...

i just installed sof2 again, patched to 1.03, and then started playing mp.

i join a server, everythings going smooth (well, except me. my skills are a bit rusty now, i die easily   )

but then about 5 minutes later, punkbuster kicks me for "using GAMEHACK". howcome the GAMEHACK was capitalized, and WHY DID IT KICK ME? i just installed for the first time because i reinstalled windows a while ago. i start playing, with nothing else in the background, then it kicks me!

same thing goes with other servers!

why me? what did i do?

email evenballence with the exact violation number the ywill be able to tell u why

something strange happens now, not punkbuster...

Odd that it was giving you a gamehack error if you weren't using a gamehack...  If in fact you weren't lying, my guess would be that a background process triggers an OpenGL function that PB recognizes as common hacks.  PB can raise violations when a certain function is called.

come on man, have i ever lied here?  

i found out what it was.

i had another opengl game open (minimized); i guess it doesnt like anything having to do with opengl except for sof2.

Yep... PB is very picky about OpenGL functions that aren't used by the game...

I'm surprised it doesn't pick up on the MSN Alert layover OpenGL thingy
