I have been playing SOFII everyday now for about a year and cant get enough.

Though it made me wonder on what other good games I have missed that may be as much fun.

So are there any other online games that are as good as SOFII?

I have been hearing alot about PlanetSide from some co-workers but havent played it.

Planetside isn't like SOF2 in that it sucks, and you have to pay every month to play it.

If you haven't yet I recommend giving out the Urban Terror mod for Quake 3 a try. Although the graphics are not as nice, the gameplay is far better than SoF2's. Things are both more realistic yet more arcadish than SoF2.

For example in Urban Terror:

-Wearing a vest only protects the chest area.
-When shot in unprotected areas, you will bleed, and will continue to bleed until you stop for a moment to bandage the wound.
-Shooting legs results in limping until they bandage, making for critical choices between continuing a gunfight or bandaging quickly to get away faster.
-You can fully customize your weapon loadout i.e. you can opt not to take grenades and instead use a silencer or laser sight. You can even equip both items if you decide not to take a secondary weapon and instead try to find one on the killingfield. Bear in mind you can have a vest with these two items as well, unlike SOF2.
-You can open and close doors.
-You can climb ANY ledge in the game, making for some pretty nifty movement around maps.
-Reloading you will lose the remaining ammo in a clip.
-Every weapon someone has equipped will show up on their player model including primary and secondary weapons and sidearm.
-When you kill someone they will drop EVERY weapon they have, not just the one equipped.
-Everyone can heal teammates up to 40% health, or if you have the medic kit you can heal up to 80% NOTE: you cannot heal yourself.

Try SOF1, that was the only other FPS that I thought was interesting before I got into SOF2.

CS...hmmm....oh right "Let's set bulletdamage to 99999 and run speed to 4 and market it as a realism game!"
