Hey Guys,

need some help plz.

I've got TWO CD drives:

First is CD Burn ( master drive ) and the second one is just the normal CD Rom ( slave drive ).

I installed Heretic II from the normal CD Rom Drive. Everything works well, but anyway, there is no ingame CD music :(

If i enter "CD Info" in console, it says that no music traks were aviable.
If i set the game disk into the master driver, it checks the disc an the music traks - and plays them.

But thats nonsense, there is no sound cable connected to the CD Burner .....
There is only one slot that leed to the normal cd drive.

What can i do with it ?
Is there any console command to "fix" the "music path" or is there a config file to "mod" it anyway ?

Thx for any help ....

greetings

cyberhead

... hehe and sorry for my bad english :s9:

One my computer there is a cable that has to be connected from the CD drive you are using to the soundcard (or motherboard if you have a built in sound card) if you want to listen to CD music.

Check and see if there is a cable there, it should go in a connector on the top, left corner of the CD. If there is just take it out and put it in the drive you want to use.

Or you could just use the other drive for CD music, my dad has a CD-RW drive on his and he uses it for all things cd related.
