ive created the .dds file for the texture i want and i am using the tutorial Textures: Importing Custom
i am on step five and i dont really understand how to see my texture in radiant or how to find it in radiant. Can anyone help?

You must put the texture in the development map. And then in Cod Radiant click on textures (in the top of the screen) and then on _development. Then you will see you texture.

I've just created a new map called 'textures' so you get:
(...)Call of Duty\Main\textures
in that map I made a new one, called for example 'custom_textures' and there I put my own textures in with good sizes and .jpg or something.

All you need is a Textures folder in the Main folder. Also you can have subfolders in the Textures folder. This texture folder will have to be included in the pk3 with all the custom textures in it.
Backup Your Work or your Work will be gone.
