Hi all Long time since ive been here...

My question... I just formatted my pc (#### it was needed) and installed SOF again... Now i immediately installed SOF2Gold patch without the prior updates like 1.02, installed OSP cause i needed it to on the servers i play, But here's the thing... My punkbuster wont update... I got the prgram to update it i ran it... and it gives me some error... Also I go to evenbalance.com and copy ALL the files into my pb dir... still the pb boots me off the server for not having updated pb?? Can anyone help me out? In any way?

Oh... the error i'm getting with the pweb.exe is this:

ERROR: Htm-to-Binary Conversion Failed ... htm\wa001315.htm Removed

File already exists: htm\wc001034.htm

Delete the files that are having the errors.  And did you use the full gold patch?

Gold was full patch... yes
and i deleted and let pbweb install the files again...

to solve issues with Punkbuster just disable it and avoid games incorperating it in the future.  Works great.

Replacing his dll files also worked great.

The things that works for me is, create a server and just type pb_Sv_update in console. Takes about 2-3 mins but it works fine

He had an error in updating, it kept returning as corrupted and it couldn't convert.

just execute the pbweb.exe file in your pb folder and it will auto update outside of the game.  no need to even join a server.

*edit* just read the whole thread...hrm...never mind, i would just say delete the offending files, but beefy already covered that..

Yep, he tried deleting, redownloading, kept corrupting, in and out of the game.  I figured known valid dll files should do the trick.
