hey all out there, i want to make a recording of myself playing sof2 on my pc, are there any programs i can get holf of to do it with? and where can i get them, or is there a console command to record video?

While we're at it... I've recorded a demo of me acting stupid on a /devmap, so far so good. I followed this excellent tutorial, and all is working fine (except the TGAs totalled around 3 GB at 1024x768 ). I can activate third person view, rotate, everything... but! now I want to make a demo where the view is in ghost-spectator mode... is that even possible? would make for a very nice shot... or am I taking this SOF2-movie-making too far?

just enable ghost mode (most servers have it disabled ) the demos are just recored from ur view point, what ever that may be

So I'd have to enable that, go into ghost-spectate mode, get another computer to record the demo and run around on my machine... right? Guess there's no way to do that while the demo is running, but I'll re-record it that way... thanks for the suggestion!

speaking about recording, how do i make a demo of a suspected cheater (the number of cheaters sure has increased a lot lately, punkbuster means  nada for your info, evidently PB is cracked, hacked or whatever its called)?

Same way.  Do it from the console by pressing ~.
