yup it was the sodding zone alarm!! HMMM... anyhow, i cant configure my zone alarm to give sof clearance, so i have to disable the firewall while i play, and how fun is THAT in these hackers/worms/trojanic days??!! Not very!!!! Any kind soul out there wanna help me config my bleeding zone alarm?? Id thank you on my site!!

well either press r then y when it frezes or just tick allow in the program control bit if its not listed add it

another prob i have is that suddenly, wo any reason while im playing, it quits and goes back to windows (and even weirder, i can only see the upper half of windows!!) hmmmmmm

Dunno what's the problem, for me sof2 works fine with ZoneAlarm.
Have you done it like this?

1. Open up ZoneAlarm and then choose "Program Control" from the left!
2. Choose "Programs" tab!
3. Click "Add" button and then look up your sof2mp.exe file!
4. After that sof2mp.exe appears in the Program Control window, left click question marks behind it and replace them with green ticks.

wow some of you lads are immensly helpful!!! my zone alarm looks diff though hmmmmmmmmm.... anyhow i solved the prob, i closed down zoen alarm, started sof, changed it to windowed screen, then restarted zone alarm and then sof exe was in there voila!! But i still have the troub of sof quitting unexpectadly and then returning to windows hmmmmmmm........... I did dl that verifier prog and that said that the installed files was 100 percent flawless hmmmmmmmmm
