Slashdot is reporting that those who are able to attend this year's QuakeCon maybe able to check out a running version of Quake IV. "the Raven-developed Quake IV may be showcased this year, according to hints from id's Todd Hollenshead at last year's QuakeCon"

I think it would be great to meet the Raven staff as well. I could ask them all the burning questions I have... - what really happened to the missing sof2 code? - are you going to strip out unnecessary code from Q4? - will there be any modding support from the developers? - if you do support modders, how long will you support them? until the next big project? - will you appoint someone to provide support or do you plan on going with the flow and leave us hanging? - will modding utilities be provided, or will we have to make our own utilities to convert images, models, etc.? - are you using a new format for game assets that requires converters and compilers, or will we recognize them? (what the heck is m32 image formatting)

I can think of a few questions myself, however I think yours are worded rather eloquently, considering what Raven may/may not deserve to be asked/told.
