i have my monitor currently at 1024x768 @ 85hertz but i wud like to change it to 1280x1024 the only problem is that unless i untick the box hide modes that this monitor cannont display it will only show 60 hertz and with this refresh rate i see the flicker. if i untick this box and increase refresh to say 85 hertz would this damage my monitor?

lol nm if i set it to higher than 60 hertz at this resolution it just says out of frequency and automatically resets the refresh rate :S i suppose this means it is dangerous for my monitor.  its the horizontal frequency which gets out of range :S
