Hey guys, I'm looking for a good program for doing some models for my Ravenhurst project, it's using the Hexen II engine so any progs for Quake should work with it. Specifically I'll be using it to create a whole new monster/helper model, animations and all. I've used Gmax but I'm pretty sure that doesn't support Quake yet.

Things like 3D Max are pretty pricey, and would need a plugin for Hexan/Quake.  If gmax doesen't have native Quake support, you could try checking out Milkshape.  I've not used it myself, but many people like it, and it comes with native support for many game model types (IIRC).

Yeah milkshape was the first one I downloaded, also on the Gmax site they say Quake Gold is supported-but that may just be Q3.
