There Are No N00b Weapons. They All Require Skill, Unless Under Certain Circumstances.*

However, There Are N00bs. Who Do Not Use Skill.

Skill is simply knowing how the gun works, what you can do with it, the angles of deflection, drop-at-range, range, power, effectiveness, etc, etc... N00bs do not take this into account. They just rush in and fire away. They do not use tactics, therefore they take all the weapons and use them barbaricly.

The MM-1 has a high arch, as does the M-203 on the M-4. And the 20mm on the OICW. High Arch = Skill Required For Effective [AT RANGE] Use. These guns have very long ranges, and are quite effective. Either at close range, no skill needed, or at long range, with much-skill being very important.

The shotguns, however, have NO RANGE, so you have to use skill to get close. Or, you can just be a N00b and run up to the guy with the AK/M4/UZI. And get killed, since he knows you're there.

I've successfully killed tons, or, should I say, megabytes of people on SoF2 SP withe evry gun, using some skill of stealth, gun knowledge, etc, etc. For instance, as a part of strategy and decent weapons for use with it, ambushing foes works nicely, with the AK/M4.

Accuracy and Range are major things in skill. In order to be good with your weapon, you must know your weapon. In order to know your weapon, you must use your weapon, consistantly.

I'm going on an' on an' on an' on, aren't I? Well, I'd like to shut everyone up about 'N00b Weapons' in one, single, shot. A very Sniper-Like approach, eh? I think so.

Anyhow. The RPG-7 requires vast quantities of skill to use, at range. However, N00bs prefer to be in close-quarters, eh? And usually frag themseleves, along with their victim, when using explosives. Skill-less morons. Skill with an RPG-7 is knowing your enemy's next move, so you can avoid missing him, and being killed while you reload. You might aim at the opponent's feet, or the ground nearby, and hope the blast-field kills him or her. Or, you could 'lead' the target, firing ahead of or behind the target, letting it move into the firing line, effectively running into your shot.

The Term 'N00b,' or 'Newbie,' stands for a PERSON who DOES NOT DISPLAY SKILL. That may as well be the definition. First of all, a WEAPON is not a PERSON, is it? A WEAPON cannot show SKILL, anyway, for it is an INANIMATE OBJECT, and not a PERSON, as it DOES NOT HAVE a MIND. A PERSON, however, DOES HAVE a MIND, and, so, is an ANIMATE OBJECT, which CAN DISPLAY SKILL, if he or she so chooses.

So, that all said, a WEAPON CANNOT be a 'N00b.' But a PERSON CAN be a 'N00b.'

Well, you've survived through my long, boring, droning speech. I'm done. So, either continue to call weapons of various types 'N00b Weapons', or succumb to my words and consider only the people who use the weapons, without using skill, 'N00bs.'
