Oh brother!  I'll try to make this one short:

-This teen girl (15) came to my office this pm.  Crying, crying, crying.
- I vaguely remember her.  Seen her around.  Not an usual library "customer".
- I asked what the problem is.
- She found out she's pregnant.
- I asked why in he11 would she tell me this.
- She said that one of her friend (wich I know pretty well, since she's the sister of one of my best friend) told her I was nice and I could help her.
- So, after comforting her and telling that everything would be alright, I took her home.
- Met her folks and told them what was the "problem".
- Really nice folks she have.  Everything was fine after that and voila...

That was part of my day.  That and my main work computer giving up on me.  Jebus!  Those teenagers... :s9:

You say the parents were supportive, wonder what happened when they left.

Had a friend that got pregnant at 15. Stayed pregnant for four months. Then forced to have an abortion.

Saddest thing I ever saw. She loved it (gender wasn't known). She would sing to it.

Bah, I hate teenagers.  Well, I mean the stupid ones that make the rest look bad.  What are they thinking?

"Hmm, I'm not even an adult yet, but its lame to be a virgin.  I know this one cute guy, maybe I'll get some tonight." Much later: "Oh I'm pregnant?  Oh RIGHT, sex can also make babies, not just be for fun.  Huh, maybe I better find out what a condem is"

:s9:

It's hard for me to feel sorry for people like this who think that sex is nothing and anyone who can do it, should do it.  And screw protection.

It's also because of the stupid teenagers ('the' stupid ones, not that all teens are stupid), that they are creating yet ANOTHER driving limit for new drivers in my province.  I don't know any of the details, but after September if you try to take the test, you have to wait another year before you can drive. What about responsible people who want to learn how to drive, but aren't ready to learn yet!  It's because of the people (mostly teens) who speed and kill people that gets these rules enforced for everyone else!  They think they are young and invincible, don't care about the welfare of others on the road or in their car, they also think that a licence allows them to drive no matter what they do on the road.  That they need to follow the rules to pass the test,  but after that its anything goes.

I want to know why so many teenagers are so stupid and inconsiderate to others.  Ofcourse you guys are not an example of teens like this.   :)   Not as far as I know anyway, and some of you aren't teenagers anyway.
