I've got a 5 button mouse - Want to bind primary to button 4 and secondary to button 5!

With RTCW settings =

in_mouse 1 // Don't know!
bind kp_pgup "blah blah" // mouse button 4
bind kp_pgdn "blah blah" // mouse button 5

This works fine with RTCW, but with SOF2, settings =

in_mouse -1 // tried changing to 1 (default -1)- doesn't seem to do anything!
And binding to kp_pgup/kp_pgdn does not work with SOF2.  Does SOF2 suppoert 5 button mouse?  I have latest drivers for mouse.

System:
Mouse = Genius net-scroll, optical.
Mouse driver = Genius net-scroll+ optical V.7.0
O/S = WinME

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks Bandit - didn't even think of that - Because of the drivers I am using it makes difficult to find bindable keys to set them to, but I did, thanks again.  :p

so, do you have to switch back and forth, when your playing a game and when your in windows?  how do the thumb buttons work in windows once you've set them to F keys?

You may want to give this a spin, its an app that MatonLoco linked to a short while ago, if you mouse uses the logitech system calls, but if it use's the MS one then you might want to try thier drivers...at least that use to work in the good old days...may not be true now.
