in sof2 can one fire from prone position or one has to get up to crouch to snipe. Even the scope will not come on while flat on ground. is this normal?

I haven't really played SP though.... I can't remember fully LOL  

nopers, sorry bro, you can't fire prone in single player, just crawling and cover.
you can't even go prone in multiplayer.


i wish you could pick up nades and throw em back in multiplayer like the bad guys do in single player, that'd be sweet.

I think you can go prone and fire with some guns, not others

In the Mandown mod you can go prone. If I remeber right (been a long time since I've played it) all you can do while prone is move. If your talking about Mandown, check it out hereand you should be able to get and answer.

yeah you can go prone in madown and you can shoot with every weapon.

In the standard single player version of SoF2, you can go prone--but you cannot fire with any gun, aim, lob grenades, use night vision, thermal imaging, or the binoculars.

Simply put, going prone means all you can do is crawl.

But, all that said, it is quite useful for sneaking up on people in tall grass, coming up in front of or behind them, drawing the knife, gutting them, and then going back down and moving on to another. Not to mention hiding behind low objects and avoiding heavy gunfire.

I would think you would be able to fire from the prone position. With the sniper rifle and M-60, at the very least.

Maybe someone could do an edit and set the game to allow all that, while in prone. Another patch, or something. Or maybe just a much-appreciated fan-fix.
