I was just curious what the best way to catch a cheater is? I know there's a lot of accusations out there, and I don't want to turn this into one of those. I've heard you should spectate them, my question is: if the player is using a wallhack and you spec them, do you see invisible walls, or just a player shooting at walls? How can you tell if someone is using aimbots or wallhacks?

I was in a recent game where there was 1 player on the other side, against 3 of us. The way he was playing and killing all of us one after another, I got suspicious, and decided to spec him. He was down to the pistol, running around with the enemies flag on his back, not capping it, and blasting at walls a few seconds before the person turned the corner. Made me think of a wallhack, but I've never seen one. When he got low on ammo on the pistol (his last weapon), he said he was bored, and dropped off.

If you dont have a wallhack then you will still see the walls when spectating someone, no matter what. Punkbuster screenshots do show what the other sees. When I hear that description it does sound like he's cheating, of course I wasn't there so I can't know for sure.

So, if I had taken a screenshot when spectating him, then I would have seen invisible walls in the jpg? What about other cheats like aimbots? How do you tell?

You need to take a PB screenshot of the player in question. Not a screenshot from you.
A PB screenshot is taken from that persons vid card memory and shows what that person is seeing which isn't necessarily what you are seeing by speccing him.

see this thread and watch the demo., its funny as ####. most people arent this moronic when they wallhack but its a good start to see what to look for. this is the funniest wallhacker demo ive seen.

nope just a normal demo, i think its osp so you might have to load up an osp server first, or load osp through the mod menu.

he camps behind the red tent in col1 with an mp5 and shoots people through the tent lol, its worth the time to watch it, lol.
