In my opinion.... Hexen got the best music, especially the track in the "Dungeons" and "Sacred Grove" levels....

I love all of the music from the Serpent Rider series, mainly because Kevin Schilder did them all. If I had to chose though it would be Hexen, although the others are very close. If they made another one Mr. Schilder would absolutely HAVE to be doing the music.

Of those that I've tried, I'd have to say HeXen. Even though it was the same artist who did the music for Heretic, I didn't like the majority of the tracks in that one. Hexen's was much better imo because overall, it sounded much more sinister somehow. HeXen 2 had good music too, but there just wasn't enough of it :-P /Me sheds a tear because it is unlikely that we'll ever get a HeXen 3 which is like the first.

Hexen II had great music, but like you said there wasn't as much. Also some of the tracks were remixes of pieces from the previous games (Not that that's a bad thing mind you, as they were quite good remixes )

The remixes were the best thing in HeXen 2 imo. Pity that I didn't like most of the other things in the game.

I think my favorite track in HeXen 2 is the remix of that music track that plays in The Winnowing Hall in HeXen 1, though the others are cool too.
