Yeah, I know - thats just what AMD say.
AMD also say that if you buy the retail box, the heatsink and fan that comes with it is fine. That's also rubbish.

AND, if you put grease on the XP, AMD says it invalidates your warranty.... :s6:

XPs will not do 90C without crashing. lol That's the max die temp which means it shouldn't do any permanent damage to the chip up to that temp. They'll generally start flaking out by the time you hit 70C tho.

i've been good, just started playing again, and tryin to get my rig in shape. seems like i will be fine in that dept...in a few weeks that new 9800 radeon wiil b mine :angry:
