I have been a big SOF2 fan for a while and some of you may remembe me posting ehre before but i've lost completely lost my faith in PB, i just got a very cool new Radeon 9800 and so decided to bump up the settings to max and as soon as i join a server with Antialiasing at 4x i get kicked and pb says i have a "Video Driver Hack". After googling the error message it turns out that cheaters use AA to make it impossible for server admins to see their hacks. It completely sucks that PB is therefore making us choose between playing a game we love and having it visually attractive. I don't mean to whine but i hope this get remedied as it's really annoying.

Hmmm...Punkbuster doesn't kick if you use Antialiasing.

There has to be something else.

There has to be something else wrong...have you tried different levels of Antialiasing?  Try 2x or 6x AA and see if you have the problem.. What version of the Catalyst drivers are you running?

hmm, that's funny, i can run 4x, 6x, thatever i want no probs.  you say you just upgraded.  did you perhaps go from a nVida product to a ATI one?  if that's the case, it sounds as tho you are fuxed a bit.  i would backup whatever i needed and format that sucker.

bob's got a 9800, and it runs AA fine.

ATI cards don't support Quincinux Antialiasing.  If you have an option for Quincinux, then something is majorly wrong.

You could always get your mom to let you use the iMac.  Tell her to go for a jog or something and snag that baby.

like darel pointed out, Quincinux isn't even available on ATI cards.  did you even read what i typed?  did you even remove you nVidia drivers?  are you just gonna be really annoyed or are you gonna try to fix it at all?  why ask for help if its gonna fall on deaf ears?
