Ok, don't know when this started or what I did. Take a look at this screenshot. It shows No Snaps in upper left hand corner.... the time, snap count, and cmd are in the upper right hand corner. Where did these come from..and how can I get rid of them. No snaps error

well, im not to sure about this one but open the consol (hit ~) and type in "/snaps" without the "s and tell me what it says
