Sometimes when I connect to servers I get disconnected and I get this message "Invalid Pk3-file/s". what the #### is going on? Is someone else using my CD-key or what? I bought SOF2 1 and a ½ years ago and have been playing it ever since, and now all of a sudden I get this problem! argh!! please someone help me!!

Uhmm if someone were to use your key it'd say something like "duplicate CD-key" so No no one is using your CD-key. Invalid pk3 file is just what it says.. Invalid pk3 files. As you probably know all textures and sof2 files are compressed into files with *.pk3 extensions. Probably one of the files has gone corrupt. So my first guess would be try to reinstall sof2.

Well, thats seems to be a problem too. When I reinstalled SOF2 all my testures got messed up. Everything (except trees and bushes) kinda looks like a Check-board. White Squares with a black colour at the edges. wtf wtf wtf!! I love SOF2 and I can't live without it!

turn downloads on it might of been a new osp server sometimes you get teh pk3 error because you dont have what it needs....

I noticed the error-messsage I get wasn't only "invalid PK3-files". It's supposed to be "Unpure Client detected, Invalid Pk3-files". Goddammit, I havent got an "Unpure Client"!! My Auto-download is already activated, but it doesn't work anyway =(. But thanks for the tip Hmmz, that program (Wiser 2) said that some of my files have been incerrectly installed... but it have always been working before. =/

u will need to copy them from the cd, the unpure client/invalid pk3 are when ur files do not match the server files

but how do I know which files I shall copy from the CD? "wiser2" doesn't say that =/.

the file it stops on, so after u copy the file run it again and soo on till it says its good

sometimes if you leave a server then try to get right back on this will happen...a quick fix (but not permanant and you may have to do every so often) is to just go to another server....then leave and go back to the one that told you that....should fix it for the time being
