My friend and i started a new clan... now we wanna practice together to become better... now since i am sitting on this 10mbit connection i thought i might open up a server... How do i do this? or do i really need to rent a server like Jolt.co.uk offers?

I tried opening a dedicated server from the sof menu... and all it does to me is: "Masterserver resolved to 86.??" "Sending hartbeat"

that's all it tells me... well before this it ofcourse loads all the info from the server, like FF on, timelimit,... you know

So what do i do to make this work? I also heard of a program called "sof2 runner" it's for server settings? Do i need such an external program to run my own server? Also can i make a server wich is public?
Pls explain me how, or post any links i might find usefull to learn! :-)

sof2 runner has all the options you want, just go download that, its pretty simple
