I went to see Dream Catcher over the weekend (very weird film, not sure if I liked it or not) and after the trailers just before the movie started they showed a 15 min short Matrix thing. Now I'd heard about Animatrix on the net, the free anime short movies that have been made but I'd not heard of anything like this! The short was entitled "The final flight of the Osiris" (I think it was number 7 in the Animatrix series, but I'm not sure) and the CGI put Final Fantasy to shame. The entire thing was computer generated, but I swear some scenes you just couldn't tell it wasn't real. I was blown away, it's certainly got me looking forward to the propper sequel.

Just watched the latest Animatrix installment (The Second Renaissance Part 2) - that was pretty great!

Seen the same Film, had the same opinion of it (it was weird ), and seen that same one before it too, but what is the connection to the Animatrix, cause it was nothing like the ones on the site will they have these ones on the site later??

The animatrix is a DVD collection of like 9 anime shorts. Only 4 of which are being freely released. You have to buy the DVD to see the rest.
