It seems that the cdkey server doesn't check cdkeys anymore (at least that is what i heard). Hopefully that is only temporary coz this allows banned cheaters to get a new key via a keygen and start all over again If this happens SOF2 is surely doomed to die

i still see people getting banned for duplicate keys/GUID's so i dont know where you heard that but its wrong. one more time, PB cannont detect private hacks. as soon as PB finds the hack they add protection. however if this is private, ie he doesnt give it to anyone it will never be protected.

yeah i seen ppl get kicked for duplicate keys too infact i saw 2 yesterday in the sof2files server...

We are working on a better solution to the banning problem this week. Unfortunately due to some timing it will not be done this week, but until then we will flick some switches on the master server to make banning work how it did before.

Oops, I totally forgot about this The guy who was using was testing out quite honestly, he wasn't trying to fool anyone, I mean, it's obvious when someone has one. Apprently he was quite well known for his exploits, but I can't remember his tag
