im running a 28 player server what should my server rate be with this many people and how do I figuire out how to do the numbers my self thx

theres no exact number. it depends on your connection. if you want to be generous, make the rate something like 9000. most dial-up people have it at 5000, though. decide for yourself and test the settings.

Most cable sets the rate at 10,000 for a Cable connection, and 11,000 for T1. PB allows a range of 2500 - 90000. My server runs at 10,000 just fine.

im on a oc192 connection so bandwith is not a problem I just dont want anyone to lag on server
