I totally forgot what GHOUL stands for. And while on the subject, I also forgot what ICARUS and ARIOCHE stand for. Please dont tell me what they are. I know that. They're acronyms for something.

I don't think Ghoul is an acronym. I think it is refering to the ghoulish nature of dismemberment, I could be wrong though.

Looking on Google I couldn't find anything on ARIOCHE, found what spike just posted about GHOUL, and on ICARUS, I found these: Individuals Crusading Against Rampant Unchecked Stupidity. Interesting, but I doubt it ;) Imaging Cosmic and Rare Underground Signal. Doubt it somehow ;) Information system on Conservation and Application of Resources Using a Sector Erm.. no Industrial Computer Application Retrieval and Utility Systems. Possibly? Anyway... there are loads Isn't it ICARUS2 they use in SoFII anyway?

Gil, the programmer who wrote Ghoul, originally started work on an internal engine many years ago called Spectre. Gil just decided to call the modeling system in SoF1 Ghoul because it followed the "undead" theme...
