Ahoy Mateys!

I have my new rig (p4 2.54, 512 ram) since roughly 2 months, and it didnt make any trouble yet, well until yesterday. Blackhawk down crashed, and I couldnt start the game anymore, so I reinstalled. Now comes the bummer, Im not able to go higher than 1024x768 after I reinstalled in this game and in SOME others. Noone lives forever 2 works just fine in 1600x1024 or Sim City 4 for that matter, but Nhl2004 or Blackhawk down doesnt. The strange thing is that Im all of a sudden limited to 1280x1024 on my desktop aswell, before the crash I could go over that resolution. I dl the newest drivers for everthing, looked for any other probs, Im out of knowledge here. I hope some of you lads can help me :)

don't forget to fully remove the old drivers, use Detonator R.I.P. to fully remove any hint of the old drivers.

Just a quick question to see what people prefer to do.  When installing new det drivers do you use det R.I.P to uninstall the older drivers first or just install the new ones over the old ones??

Thats what i do aswell.  I think though it would be best practice to strip out the old files before installing new ones incase any old file versions get left behind.

You only need to strip out the old files if you are going DOWN a version, like if u install beta drivers and find some things dont work and want to go back to an older version.  Going up the way is normally hassle free.
