I have been playing SOF1 and have got stuck!

I'm a new player and have so far got to what seems like a hotel setting.  I'm supposed to save all hostages.  I've killed all baddies that I can find and I've opened all doors etc.  I've been on the fire escape and out into the alley.  I just can't seem to find out what to do next and in frustration keep shooting the police.

Someone, please help.

From Planetsoldier
Go back inside the hotel and enter the door to the second floor. Shoot out the window to your left, and go out onto the fire escape. Go to the top level. Place your back against the wall, facing the broken part of the 3rd floor across the alley. Run, and jump at the very last possible moment to make it across and continue on with the level. (If you miss, you can always go back up and try again. Having "Always Run" set to "On" in your Miscellaneous Settings may make this part a little easier.)

SOF 1

I remember playing that on a 500mhz Athlon, 64mb SDRAM, and an 1337 16meg Savage 4 video card! Oh and for multiplayer it was 56k baby!
Good times.
