after playing planetside for a few weeks i agree with you, except for #3. it is really set up for squads, so any hardcore clans out there would probally like it, but it is tough to go it alone inthis game which is what I prefer to do. and the weapon balance is brutal, weapons that destroy a tank in a few shots dont do any damage to infantry which is very unintuitive. it is fun to play for a while, but i wont be buying this game cause of the monthly fee. right now i like taking the tr aa max and shooting down reavers and squitos instant action is good to cut down on the travel time

so this seals the deal...Raven gimme an expansion pack dammit!! NOW!!..you have made a good game..(more input = great) I have 25-30 bucks just waiting here glad to give it up for some maps, weapons, skins, #### maybe a few new model actions...We deserve it! so GJ Raven for making a good game..it is in your hands now to make it great! P.S Why doesnt Raven sponsor a mod team with credit for a patch...I would think that there would be quite a few people out there that would be willing to work with Raven to create more content for the game..to be released in a patch format(so everyone is on the same page)..in exchange for mere credit in the "about" section...Alot of Mods out there are really well done...most dont get the attention they deserve.. I would like a RAven Rep to answer this for me...(unless the players/mod'ers know) P.P.S granted i comforted with the probability of a Platnium Patch...but still doesnt mean we cant have more after that.. THX\| HH[LL]

well i think it has to do with activision and them protecting their property. i dont think they will support a community endeavor unless it is truly top notch, like desert combat, and even that mod isnt official. its a lot of work to get a big company to put their name on something they had no control over. i will make a predicion though, i think we will see some sort of patch/expansion. after i saw the amazingly vague comment by one of the raven guys "no comment" i sort of figured we might get something. also not to long ago rickmus started a thread asking us if we would pay for an expansion. he didnt say either way, he was just trying to gauge community support, which there is plenty of.

RTCW - A couple days ago I patched it and played a few rounds. SOF2 is better, but RTCW is still good, even after SOF2. And it makes for a nice change.
