For the first time in 3 months, I enjoyed nonstop play all night without one lag spike or connection lost icon.  My other online games performed great as well.  I don't know what's changed, but I suspect that my ISP was the real culprit.  I posted on several forums, and heard from a few people using Cox internet with the exact same problem.  Now, I wake up with no internet connection at all.  I call Cox, and they said the server is not assigning IP addresses for some reason.

Are you having the same problem that  I did?

i go 999 for about 5-10 seconds at a time. the game freezes with a sound loop, when the game "catches up" i see a red block go by on the lagometer, everyone tells me that my ping was 999. the entire time i am able to speak on teamspeak2 so i am not losing my net connection. this just "started" happening out of the blue, no driver updates, no new programs, nothin. of course my isp says they can find no problem...

I have DSL and experience the same problems. Once or twice in a round, my ping shoots all the way to 999 and I get the red block in the lagometer. I guess every rose has it's thorn.
