Ok here's the thing... i was just playing on some random servers from my "internet" source and all of the sudden i c a friend of mine on it? I go WTF? He was playing with a cracked game downloaded of KaZaA, and he can play all the servers? Why did I even bought the game then?
Or is there a descent explanation for this?
And no he has no legit cd-key

Or is a possibility that he was very lucky and it was a cracked server as well?
Or how does this thing work?

most riped cd images work just as good as retial. games make it where you have to have a valid cd key to play online. before pb you could log in with dupe keys, maybe even use a key gen to play. since pb came out you need a valid key if you want to play on a pb server. you also cant use the same key as some one else at the same time. long story short if he is playing on a pb server he probaly got ahold of a valid key. either that or there is some kind of exploite out, witch i dout. 9 times out of 10 people want to seem cool by saying they dl'd it, but ofcourse it is posible. one more thing, he could have just  ben at a cyber cafe, even tho they all feture cs you may finda couple with sof on it. or he could be at a friend house, all that is speculatory the facts are, with a pb server you must have a valid key, BUT there could be an exploite out. all i can say about the exploite (if there is one) is that its not popular and they are usaly patched in due time. hope that helps.
