i have the xp restore pack but it just says invalid partition or only 1 partition must be selected, so im gonna go and but win xp home thing is i have 98, so would an upgrade xp home be ok eg would it cause problems or should i get the full xp? thing is im slightly broke atm :S Thanks

If you are going to buy XP get XP Pro OEM Full. It's the full version of XP Pro w/o tech support, I just ordered it for about $140 compared to $300 for retail.

GBP 123.63 Isn't there a UK equivilent of pricewatch.com and pricegrabber.com? I got the above price from pricewatch.co.uk, but it was the only site that had it. With the US price sites you would have 50~100 to choose from... there must be a good price comparison site in the UK. I bet Spike knows of one. format your hard drive and re-partition then your xp restore pack will work....
