First of all im at a school campus that tries to block direct connections.  Is there anyway i can set something up to use a different port for SOF to prevent being blocked out every 15 mins or so.  

The second problem i have is that of my game skipping only during the first 2 mins or so.  I know its not lag because i will have a ping of less than 30 on this fantastic school network.  It is not my Fps because that will bounce between 70-120 on different maps.  But for some reason i get this incredible skipping as if my fps were at 10.  The game did not have this problem at first or after i reformatted my computer.  How can i prevent this problem without reformatting every 2-3 monthes?  And has anyone else experienced similar problems?

u can change the port by adding:
+set net_port #
to the shortcut trarget where # is the new port number.

Ok is there anyway i can run sof through either port 113 or port 80?
and if so what would the command line look like ?
"C:\Program Files\Soldier of Fortune II - Double Helix\SoF2MP.exe" +set net_port 113" exec autoexec .cfg"

how can i check see if the port has really changed or not

Go to the console in the game by pressing ~ and typing /net_port

Any feed back about the skipping problem?
This started for me about 2 weeks ago and wont go away

For the love of God someone please help

The last two weeks have been horrible ....my game skips continuously .
There is no pattern to it .....
Skipping happens every 5-10 sec
My ping is fine and I have checked every setting in my config over and over again.
I did a fresh install and even in a different directory ....scanned HDD nothing
This is driving me mad  
Anyone please
