im on 56k connection,i use sof2 runner for my server its not too bad but when people join it lags real bad i think my settings are all wrong . i have a hp pav 8800 - 850mhz-320ram-20gigharddrive-gforce2-64meg graphics card . .Also when i close sof2 runner err message says sof2 runner caused an error in msvbvm60 dll ...... please help .

Its your connection mate 56k is no good to run a server.

ur tring to run a server on a 56k connection.... u will get 1 other player on if ur lucky, once 2 join probally nither will beable to move. that was on 64k isdn tho so 56k might not beable to host any at all....

I've got more bad news for you. You're not going to be able to run a very good server from ADSL either. The download rates are nice, but the upload rates just can't handle the load. We've had several players come on our server asking how to get their server running as smooth as ours on their DSL connections and the answer is it just can't be done. You'll need a T1 or better.

hi there we heve pipex adsl and sof2 runner and it works fine we do not lag at all so get that
