Activision has made it known that they will be showing Call of Duty: United Offensive. Gamespot reports that Doom 3 won't be around at this show because the game is in it's "completion phase". I look forward to see what the next Call of Duty will bring us. I do know there will be more gametime in the sky.

Is this an expansion, or a sequel? It makes since that VV is showing D3 and not id. If id was showing it, i would expect it on the shelves VERY soon, as much time as it takes for them to prepare for these things.

I believe that United Offensive is an expansion. There are supposed to be several game improvements, but they are more or less patches to the original. So, I am calling it an expansion from now on. VV? Who are you referring to? Activision has Doom 3 and Vivendi has HL2. I agree that id would have had it on the shelves by now. They are very ambitious and tend to get things done.

Vicarious Visions, the people doing D3's Xbox port, they wil have a bit of showing from what I hear, or at least they have in the pre-e3 buzz.
