I am at work right now, but you can AIM me this afternoon eastern u.s. time and I can try to help you. retnart1

WHat I did on my router was configure port forwarding of 20100-20110 to the server IP machine which on mine is 192.168.1.100.  I loaded the server and had the same problem.  I then learned about DMZ on the router which opens up one machine to the internet so others could see it.  As soon as I did this, bam everyone could see it on the browser listing in sof 2.  What the DMZ does is allow people to see one machine on your lan and it utilizes the external ip.  So when people finally see your server they see the ip to the server as your external ip and not the lan ip 192.xxx.xxx.xxx  What port forwarding for the server machine does in a nutshell is allows the master server to reach the server machine.  When the server sends out the heartbeat the port forwarding tells the router which machine to send the response to.  Without this port forwarding there is no response from the master servers so it just never shows up.  Hope this helps!

*EDIT* One other thing, you can start a dedicated server without using sof2runner or from within the game.  Make a shortcut to your sof2mp.exe file.  Right click the shortcut and select properties.  Click on shortcut tab.  In the TARGET box at the end of the last character (which will either be exe or exe") add a space and then type in exec server.cfg +set dedicated 2 . This is a command line. Your OSP documentation will show you what to put for its mod which I think is +set fs_game osp.  So the line would look something like this:

(target info here ending in exe or exe") exe" exec server.cfg +set dedicated 2 +set fs_game osp

Now hit apply and close it out.  Now if you double click this shortcut it will start a dedicated server and you will see a console box showing its loadup and status.  OSP mod should be loaded , but you need to make sure your server.cfg file is configured with the OSP stuff.  Again this is in the osp documentation.  Also the server.cfg file is the SOF II default file for server settings but you can name it what you want.  This file should be located in the base/mp folder.

Hope you dont think I am insulting your intelligence but I am assuming you know nothing, its just easier to explain that way.
